I am an unabashed fan of Lisa Firke’s work. Every bit of her own work is worth reading, beautiful to look at, easy to navigate. Looking at her portfolio is what persuaded me to join the Thesis community.(Not that any of the sites I’ve worked on are remotely in her league).
And her site designs for other people – they’ve each got a voice and a walk of their own. Here’s her portfolio page.
Here’s her page on breaking creative blocks.
I’d add two:
- set the same timer and work out for five minutes, or ten;
- Music, if you work well with it on. Change it, change tempo, genre, volume – for me it occasionally jump-starts the brain.
And here’s her blog – Hit Those Keys.
